This has been an incredible hectic week, leaving me very little time to
do much including my daily posts on face book. As a matter of fact things did
not start getting crazy just last week. If the truth be told various situations
have just being bombarding me as well as my family continually since 2010. As if God was not aware I started to recount
to him all that I was going through and then began to wonder what he was up to.
I began to ask God when is "enough" enough. To me complaining was certainly justified.
Well so it seemed until God reminded me of I Thess. 5:18-give thanks in
all circumstances; for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.
Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.
Another verse that the Holy Spirit brought to my mind was Romans 8:28
And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
in obedience to the word of God
2.
We should go further than giving thanks
to “Glory” – (boast, rejoice) in our suffering (Tribulations). As Andrew Womack
reminds us - Tribulations exist, not because God
creates them, but because there is a battle between the kingdom of God and the
kingdom of the devil. And when we operate in faith, God can grant us such
victory that we are actually better off because of the battle
3.
Suffering brings perseverance- patience
(a fruit of the spirit), in other words it is a building up of our Faith
4.
Faith and Hope works hand in hand and is
a result of the love God has for me
5.
Instead of protesting my tribulations, I
should start praising my way through them.
In His Service,
Vilma
